Noor-Musafir (arabic for Starlight-traveller) is a 10" diameter telescope that I've been designing and making since December 2014. I machined all the custom-components used in the assembly myself, which as I was hoping, helped me learn fundamentals of CNC machining and design for machining. Furthermore, since I'm making this using my own savings, it is a great tutorial on thinking about how to prototype-fabricate things in a tight budget.
